What’s The Best Bikini Hair Removal Procedure

Do you want to know the best bikini hair removal procedure? No matter the cost or negatives? Lets first go over the options for removing your hair for your bikini.

There is shaving, creams, waxing, brazilian and laser treatments. Lets break them done to see which procedure is the best.

Shaving

Method: Removing the pubic hair with a razor, electric shaver or even scissors.

Pros: It is very inexpensive, simple and you can do it on your own where ever you are.

Cons: You have to do it all the time on a regular basis. It may get itchy down there when the hair starts to grow back. It also isn’t the look many women want.

Hair Removal Creams

Method: Apply a thick cream to the hair you want to remove.  You need to wait at a minimum 5 minutes. After that you wipe away the hair.

Pros: It is the same as shaving, but you don’t cut yourself.  You have to do it often depending on how fast your hair grows back.

Cons: Many of these creams smell horrible.  You can also get a stinging feeling on your skin. Many women get an allergice reaction, so you might want to read the label first.

Bikini Waxing

Method: Hot wax is applied to the bikini line (and upper legs) with a flat wooden tongue depressor against the hairy skin. Then they put a strip of linen on top and pressed down against the wax. Once it sticks to the hair, the beautician rips kit off quickly.

Pros: It’s a very simple way to remove unwanted hair. The outcome is usually to your satisfaction. The skin comes out very smooth. Make sure to get a credible person do this.

Cons: It can be very painful. Ripping that strip off your skin with hair attached is painful. You usually need someone to di it, it is very difficult to do it yourself. It can also be very messy. It also costs more then shaving or the cream. You will also need to keep this up every month for maintenance.

Brazilian Bikini Removal

Method: This is the cadillac of waxing. You are removing all hair down there, even in the buttocks area.

Pros: This is done by a professional. You will be as clean as a babys bottom. No hair at all down there. All you’ll see is skin and it feels great!

Cons: It can get pretty expensive and the pain doesn’t get any easier. The procedure gets into areas you must be comfortable with if you know what I mean. You will need to fully get undressed for this one. Once you get comfortable with your beautician, it will be a breeze. But again you have to keep this up at least once a month for maintenance.

Laser Hair Removal

Method: You must have a licensed clinician or M.D.  Using electrolysis removes unwanted hairs with an electric needle that probes into single hairs (one at a time), conducting an electrical current that kills the root and prevents regrowth. Laser hair removal uses the pulsation of a laser light to kill hair growth when applied to small areas (about the size of a quarter) around unwanted hairs.

Pros: This is permanent. No more hair! Ever!

Cons: You will be spending some money for these treatments. It can also be quite painful. The equipment used is expensive as well. If the pain gets to be too much, you might even need a cream to numb it.

There you have it! Which treatment do you feel is the best for you. Hair removal is a personal decision, and making the best decision for you is critical.

Easy And Painless Hair Removal For Bikini Wearers

Consider the pain you’ll experience with hair removal, and go for the easy and painless route for a bikini line that looks fabulous! My first recommendation is to not do it yourself if you want to avoid any pain and discomfort.

Bikini waxing beats shaving all day long. It lasts longer because it’s a lot closer and cleaner than what a razor can get. Getting it done professionally is also looked at as pampering, very much like a pedicure or manicure. If you choose a nice place to get it done, it can turn out to be a great experience.

If you want to have the ultimate experience with the least amount of pain, you’ll look into laser hair removal. This is the most expensive procedure but can be nearly a permanent treatment that lasts indefinitely.

Because the hair is removed by laser beams and not by yanking out the hair with a waxing procedure, you’ll experience much less pain, and the procedure will be done much quicker.

Hair Removal Tip: I would strongly recommend taking an advil or ibuprofen an hour before your treatment. Also, do not go the week before your period because your pain threshold is less.

If you can, get a referral from a friend. It’s always the most reliable way to get the quality you want done by getting a friend who has experienced it firsthand. Going to a place you pulled out of the phone book is a crap shoot.

A French Bikini Wax Is More Conservative

Bathing suit season is time for a french bikini hair wax treatment. If you wear a standard bikini or a thong, you’ll want to get a procedure done to trim or remove your pubic hair so it looks nice and you feel comfortable wearing it.

The french bikini treatment is much less than a full brazilian.  The brazilian basically removes most if not all of the pubic hair, whereas the french removes enough to allow you to wear a swimsuit or thong without worry of pubic hair sticking out and creating an embarrassing moment.

Waxing can be a very painful and it’s not permanent. Your hair grows back and then  you have to make the decision to go through it again, or opt for daily shaving. The more pubic hair you have, the more painful it will be. Also, make sure the facility is clean and the person who is doing your treatment is experienced. Ask before you book the appointment how experienced the person is.

Many women have had horrible treatments where they felt hacked up and unclean after the procedure was done. Also make it very clear as to how low and narrow you want to go. When they are finished, they should offer you a mirror to make sure they removed the amount of hair you wanted to allow you to look nice in your french cut bikini. They should also pluck any remaning hairs at your request.

You may find this style is not enough for you, and you might try a brazilian bikini treatment next time.
